Pagham
A one day demonstration and commission to create a meaningful sculpture for Pagham
Harbour Nature Reserve.
An oak log 9ft long was sourced by the reserve
staff.
In consultation with the staff and volunteers, the decision was
made to have a pair of nurturing hands from which flows a stream. At first the
stream is full of rubbish, representing a past life of the nature reserve as a
landfill site. This evolves into an egret, a key visitor to the reserve in the
present.
