179. Threshold

Bulk of the sculpture made from one very large log
cut into the various components and reassembled,
then shaped. The flames were carved from Yew
and added on.

Meant to be a special doorway.

Created over 6 days at “Sculptree 05” Westonbirt.

Height: approx 9ft.
