206. Love and Lost

Inspired by the Tennyson quote:

"Tis better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all."

Commissioned by Sustrans for 'The Water Railway' Boston to Lincoln cycleway.

Sited near Anton's Gowt January 2009.

Approx 10 ft long.

The sculpture is designed to be utilised as a bench.
