209. The Gardener's Daughter

A carving inspired by the Tennyson quote:

"And sitting muffled in the dark leaves, you hear the windy clanging of the minster clock."

Created for the Boston to Lincoln cycle way 'The Water Railway' sited near Anton's Gowt.

Commissioned by Sustrans January 2009.

Approx 8ft long.

Sculpture designed to also serve as a bench.
