193. Bowling Basin

Bowling Basin is at the River Clyde end of The Forth and Clyde Canal in Scotland.

I originally supplied a series of feature benches for the site. This led to a request to design and produce a more prominent sculpture as a key feature on the site.

The stylised swans are carved from Sweet Chestnut and are 2m high.

The project was funded by The British Waterways Trust. I worked in collaboration with the Coach House Trust.
